Promlicous: Prom 2015

Hi! I know it's been a while since I last made a post but here's the reason: exams are killing me!
This is the so call "exam season" in Portugal and I have two exams to do, one of which I already did and another one that I still have to do next Tuesday. I didn't have time to prepare posts prior to this chaotic season so I decided to not post, therefore not risking my marks over this.
I just yestarday received the photos of my prom which was on the 5th of June and so I decided that this would be a good post to show them.

We know each other since I was born, his mom is my mom's bestfriend and vice versa, I think it would only be suited if I took a photo with him. This is Nuno btw.

These were all the photos I took at prom. These photos were taken by a professional photographer that was at the venue and the only way for us to get the photos was to get them printed in photography paper so that's why they look blurry and weird, it's because I had to scan them to get them in digital format. 

My idea for this prom outfit was sort of old Hollywood pinup girl sorta thing. I had my dress tailored and made from scratch for my, it was a fit and flare kind of dress. It had a boat neckline with a V line back opening and it was fitted till the waist and then it flared from there. It was super flowy on the bottom. The skirt part of the dress was made with 3 meters of black fabric and it had a bit of a tail in the back.

I used pastel pink and gold jewelry and I did my hair to look pinup. I had my mom put in rollers on my hair which I had in for about five hours and than I styled it to look like this.

For my makeup I did a simple wing of eyeliner, quite extreme tho, and falsies. Together I used red lipstick and that was it!

My jewelry was all from H&M and my purse is from Zara.

My girlfriend's skirt and top are from H&M as well as the flowers on her hair. Her shoes and purse are from Bershka.
