Perfume Favorites

Long time no see! I hope you're all doing fine. I think I've never seen one of these so I thought it'd be fun for me to do a favorites posts focusing on perfumes. Hopefully you find this idea as fun as I do.

Moon was given to me by my friend Mariana on my 17th birthday. Clearly, she knows me very well because this La Rive perfume is described as "a seductive mixture of sophisticated floral aroma with sensual woody notes". Most of the scents that I like have moss, wood and/or musk as base notes and this one balances that perfectly with the floral (heart) and fruity (head) notes. This is currently my everyday perfume,
Vanille Noire by Yves Rocher is one of my favorite scents ever. I'm not even close to exaggeration. Sweet yet dark. Whenever I wear this I feel like the protagonist of some old movie. I've finished a 50ml bottle, I'm now using a small sample size.
Lolita Lempicka's signature eau de parfum was a gift from my grandmother. What's not to love about this. The brand's name's combines Lolita, the name of the main character in Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita (one of my favorite books) with Tamara De Lempicka's (an amazing Art Deco artist) surname and the scent is heavenly. Sweet without being overbearing and slightly spicy and woody.
The Framboise - Agriculture Bio eau de toilette by Yves Rocher is my last pick. This is the first perfume I've ever wore by choice so I had to include it in this short list. I personally think that I won't be buying it anymore; not because it's a bad perfume but because I don't enjoy fruity scents as much as I used to. If you're looking for something sweet but not too noticeable you might like this one.

I've noticed that my choices almost always incline toward night time and Fall/Winter type of parfums.
In the 1950s it was common to say that your choice of perfume says a lot about yourself and after checking what my favorite type of scent meant I couldn't help but to smile because "old soul" and "probably a Scorpio" are stated and both are true.
That's it for today's post. I hope you liked it! Before saying my goodbyes I'd like to tell you that I'm planning a series of looks for myself since I won't be joining Anna's wonderful adventure with the elements.

LOTS OF LOVE,
Tânia
